During this extraordinary time we are all being put to the test. Finding a route through the darkest hours is better done together and we at Artistic Spaces will continue to work around the clock to ensure we are best placed to help you. After all, without you we would not exist and our mission to provide affordable workspace throughout London would fail.

Over the last few days we have been sending you emails containing or referring you to government advice as well as responding to individual concerns. We have also been doing our best to get in touch with each and every one of you by phone. Our primary focus is that everyone stays safe and well. If any of you, or people you know of, who need help (whatever it may be)please make us aware of it. We urge each and every one of you to be neighbourly and look out for one another even at a social distance. Please keep checking your phones for our calls and if you feel we have missed you over the next few days please do get in touch.

While we are continuing to bring you information as it is released by the Government, we  are here to guide you as best we can and in a way we truly believe is best for us all given these unprecedented times. The most reassuring piece of news we have received is that the Government have announced grants of up to £10,000 for businesses who receive Small Business Rate Relief. This grant is tied to your tenancy and your details that we submitted to the Local Authorities when you took on your workspace. These grants are NOT a loan and are not a form of relief from business rates. They are a cash grant available to you as a to cover your immediate business costs such as rent, insurance and other vital services. Please make sure you apply for this if you are in the category covered by this grant and, if you are in any doubt, ask us and we will try to get you the right answer.

Are the buildings open? YES! We continue to follow the advice. The overriding advice is that we must remain open. Day after day we hear how businesses are finding imaginative ways of carrying on through thick and thin. As some of you may be aware, there are a number of key workers operating within our buildings as they provide vital supplies not just for the NHS but other services on the front line of this battle we face. Despite the difficulties we all face as businesses and as individuals we will continue to ensure the buildings are cleaned, the bins emptied, the WIFI is running and the power stays on! So please help us to deliver this by maintaining your payments and to ensure you can use your spaces in the days, weeks and months to come and that when we finally come out of this, we will have a community that is not just together but the stronger for it.
